Workflow settings
General workflow settings
Settings that apply to the entire workflow can be accessed by clicking on the following icon: ![]()
Language settings
The language settings define which languages are supported within the workflow. This selection affects all content added to the workflow, requiring translations for every selected language.
Operational constraints
Operational constraints define rules for when and how communication is sent. These include:
-
Restricting communication to specific weekdays (e.g., avoiding weekends).
-
Excluding public holidays (national or regional) from communication schedules.
-
Setting permissible business hours for communication (e.g., avoiding messages around midnight).
Drafts / Versioning / Publishing
Changes to workflows are handled through a drafting cycle:
-
New Workflows: Open in draft mode by default.
-
Existing Workflows: Editing a published version automatically creates a new draft based on the last published version. If a draft already exists from a previous session, it will be reopened for further editing.
Definition of the workflows processing start
The start of workflow processing can be configured based on:
-
Creation Date: The date the entity is created (the default setting).
-
Due Date: A calculated start date based on the due date of the first primary item in a claim.
Changing this setting will trigger the publication of a major workflow version.
